Step 2: Will they take an Action?

I was having a hard time trying to find a way to post something without getting myself into much trouble.
Apparently that was unnecessary, the MNC I was talking about just found out what I did and they mailed their candidates about the incident as a threat. Now, hopefully they won't try to track me back too hard or else I'm doomed :-|...

I will post again in a few days with more details, this time with some facts and some real data, provided I'm not locked up in a central jail...

Doing a Keving Mitnick is not safe....

Do you think that the Security solutions provided by the major Multinational Companies (MNCs) are safe?
Well think again...

The security solutions of the MNCs are very strong in their own right. But as Kevin Mitnick said many a years ago, the problem is not with the security solutions, its with those who operate them, unfortunately they are still human and very much likely to make the same errors their seniors did.
For those who don't know Kevin Mitnick, type in the magic words in google, and feel lucky ;-)

Now if you are thinking "its just another blog with all talk and no action", you will be almost right. But I will be straight forward. The whole idea behind this blog was that I found a security problem in one of the major MNC's that in the hands of one Kevin Mitnick or a dozen other such Social Engineers would/could/should have been catastrophic, and thought of sharing it. But as it turns out, the right to information doesn't come cheap.

Now you're thinking "If he found any such problems, then why doesn't he spill the beans already".

Hmm... nice question, but as the title itself suggests it's not safe doing a Kevin Mitnick. I went a bit too far to accumulate proofs, and now I could have them on my *** for doing so, even though my intentions were not...mmm... let's say bad.

I will no doubt post something in a day or two, but I have to be on the safe side.
